WUES PTO

From the minute your child walks through the doors of Western Union Elementary School (WUES), you are welcome and encouraged to join PTO.  Here are just a few reasons to become a part of this important organization:

• The NUMBER ONE reason to join the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is your children.  They love to see their parents and other caregivers take an interest in and support their school.
• There is no better way to know what’s happening at Western Union.
• Unlock a wonderful resource . . . The PTO offers a variety of programs designed with parents and students in mind.
• Open resources . . .  As a parent it helps to share ideas, comments, concerns, and experiences with other parents and educators in the community.  PTO functions are fantastic opportunities to meet other parents, teachers, and staff and discuss what is on your mind.
• Watch yourself grow . . . By volunteering you gain valuable experiences.  It is an opportunity to put your skills and hobbies to good use for all of the children.
• Let your voice be heard . . . Because the PTO is a forum for exchanging ideas, you are encouraged to make suggestions.  PTO can be a way for you to effect change at WUES.
• See the improvements . . . By getting involved at school you will be a part of the solution and help to make positive changes.  Parent groups, like our PTO, play a valuable role in fundraising which provide vital programs and social events.
• Become a role model . . . Being a PTO member, you will show your children the importance of education.
